Why I'm Running
I have called Ivins home for over 28 years, building three homes and raising my family in this incredible community. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of watching Ivins grow into the vibrant city it is today. Serving on the Ivins City Council has deepened my understanding of our city’s needs and priorities, and I’m excited to bring that experience to the role of mayor.
I’m running for mayor because I believe in an Ivins that balances progress with preservation—a city where responsible growth, cultural enrichment, and strong community values go hand in hand. My vision for Ivins is one where we maintain the qualities that make it special while embracing opportunities for progress to benefit all residents.
As a longtime resident, I’ve seen firsthand the strength of our community and the beauty of our surroundings. I’m committed to preserving these elements while ensuring Ivins continues to thrive. Some of my priorities include encouraging responsible development that protects Ivins’ natural beauty and character; supporting initiatives that make Ivins a welcoming place for families, retirees, and businesses; and strengthening community programs and services to enhance our quality of life.
While Ivins has experienced significant growth, I believe we can meet the challenges that come with it through collaboration and open dialogue. Leadership begins with listening, and as mayor, I will actively seek input from residents, city staff, and community stakeholders. Together, we can make informed decisions that reflect the diverse voices and needs of our city.
Running for mayor is about more than leadership—it’s about leaving a legacy of innovation, kindness, and connection. Let’s work together to shape the future of Ivins and ensure it remains a place we’re proud to call home. I invite you to share your thoughts and ideas with me—I am here to listen and serve.
Together, we can keep making Ivins better for generations to come.
